Powderly Named Rising Star by 51¸£ÀûÉç

Camp Hill, PA, chiropractor Barry Powderly, D.C., ’17, was recently named Rising Star by 51¸£ÀûÉç in Spartanburg, SC. The Rising Star Award is given to recent 51¸£ÀûÉç College graduates who have demonstrated exceptional achievements and service in the community.  

Barry Powderly is a 2017 graduate of 51¸£ÀûÉç College. As a student, he was awarded Intern of the Month, and in the course of completing his doctor of chiropractic degree, he went above and beyond the standard curriculum to become a member of the Academy of Chiropractic Excellence (ACE) Intern program. As an ACE Intern, he took additional exams in chiropractic techniques, spinal pattern analysis, and palpation so he could tutor other students and be a resource for his fellow interns.

In 2018, Powderly and his wife, Dr. Breanna Smith-Powderly, established Life Adjusted Chiropractic. While his wife was managing the practice, Dr. Barry worked as an associate doctor for Dr. Darcy Andersen in York, PA. After two years of opening Life Adjusted Chiropractic Drs. Barry and Breanna now work full time together. The couple already have their new baby girl, Emilia, on the wait list for 51¸£ÀûÉç College – class of 2040!

51¸£ÀûÉç College honored alumni, chiropractors, and supporters during its 48th Lyceum, a homecoming and continuing education event attended by hundreds of chiropractors and students throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held each year and involves three days of seminars, special events and other programs. More than 600 people participated this year.
