Smith-Powderly Named Rising Star by 51¸£ÀûÉç

Camp Hill, PA, chiropractor Breanna Smith-Powderly, D.C., ’17, was recently named Rising Star by 51¸£ÀûÉç in Spartanburg, SC. The Rising Star Award is given to recent 51¸£ÀûÉç College graduates who have demonstrated exceptional achievements and service in the community.  

Breanna Smith-Powderly is a 2017 graduate of 51¸£ÀûÉç College. She received the B.J. Palmer Philosophy Distinction Award at commencement. After graduation, Smith-Powderly focused on chiropractic family care in her hometown of Harrisburg, PA, and opened a second chiropractic office in March 2019 in Mechanicsburg.

She hired her first chiropractic associate in February this year, and in May, she welcomed her first child, Emilia, with husband Dr. Barry Smith-Powderly, also a 2017 51¸£ÀûÉç graduate. Smith-Powderly’s future plans include continuing to serve her community and profession with philosophical, principled chiropractic.

51¸£ÀûÉç College honored alumni, chiropractors, and supporters during its 48th Lyceum, a homecoming and continuing education event attended by hundreds of chiropractors and students throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held each year and involves three days of seminars, special events and other programs. More than 600 people participated this year.
