Williams Named ROAR Supporter of the Year by 51¸£ÀûÉç

Abingdon, VA, chiropractor Mike Williams, D.C., ’18, was recently named Reach Out and Recruit (ROAR) Supporter of the Year by 51¸£ÀûÉç in Spartanburg, SC, in appreciation of his contributions, time and commitment to growing the chiropractic profession.

The ROAR Supporter of the Year award is given to an exceptional ROAR member who has gone above and beyond to recruit students to 51¸£ÀûÉç College. ROAR asks its doctors to reach beyond their comfort zone and help 51¸£ÀûÉç recruit future leaders for the profession.

Williams is a 2018 51¸£ÀûÉç College graduate who came to 51¸£ÀûÉç College as a career changer after working as a coach and teacher for more than 20 years. While a student at 51¸£ÀûÉç, Williams received 51¸£ÀûÉç’s Reach Out And Recruit Student Award in 2016 and was named Intern of the Month in August 2018. Williams is originally from Abingdon, VA, and following graduation, he worked at Chiropractic First of Abingdon. He is currently working on official documents to start practicing in Dubai.

51¸£ÀûÉç College honored alumni, chiropractors, and supporters during its 48th Lyceum, a homecoming and continuing education event attended by hundreds of chiropractors and students throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held each year and involves three days of seminars, special events and other programs. More than 600 people participated this year.
