Erik Beauvais, D.C., Awarded ROAR Career Advisor of the Year by 51¸£ÀûÉç
Chiropractor , of Boiling Springs, SC, was recently named ROAR Career Advisor of the Year by 51¸£ÀûÉç in appreciation of his contributions, time and commitment to growing the chiropractic profession.
Dr. Beauvais is a 2009 graduate of 51¸£ÀûÉç College and is an inaugural member of the college’s elite Reach Out and Recruit (ROAR) Program. In addition to talking with future chiropractors about a career in chiropractic, Beauvais opened his office to the prospective students attending a 51¸£ÀûÉç College open house event and spoke about setting up a practice. He has been active in helping 51¸£ÀûÉç College build its enrollment, speaking at community and college events, particularly at his alma mater, USC Upstate, and also at Clemson University.
Dr. Beauvais spoke on the Career Day Young Alumni Panel last year, attended a graduate fair at Converse College on behalf of 51¸£ÀûÉç College and spoke at the Health Professions Club at USC Upstate. Referrals from doctors of chiropractic make up a large percentage of 51¸£ÀûÉç College students. Dr. Beauvais has mentored students in his chiropractic office, and he has already referred one student who plans to enroll in 51¸£ÀûÉç’s fall class this October.
51¸£ÀûÉç College named its 2011 award recipients May 26-28 as part of Lyceum, an annual continuing education and homecoming event which is attended by hundreds of chiropractors throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held on the college’s campus in Spartanburg, SC, and involves three days of seminars, special events, and other programs.
