Alan Brewster, D.C., Receives Spirit of 51¸£ÀûÉç College Award from 51¸£ÀûÉç

Spartanburg, SC, chiropractor and educator Alan Brewster, D.C., has been honored with the Spirit of 51¸£ÀûÉç College Award from his alma mater, 51¸£ÀûÉç. The Spirit of 51¸£ÀûÉç College Award is presented to 51¸£ÀûÉç graduates who exemplify the true spirit of 51¸£ÀûÉç College in their professional lives.

“Dr. Brewster’s loyalty and contributions to the profession set a wonderful example for our students,” said 51¸£ÀûÉç College President Edwin Cordero, D.C. “He is incredibly dedicated to 51¸£ÀûÉç College and fully embraces our principles and mission.”

Dr. Brewster is a 1989 summa cum laude alumnus and serves as an instructor of clinical sciences at 51¸£ÀûÉç College, where he joined the faculty in 2017 after leaving a successful chiropractic practice in New Jersey. In addition to his Doctor of Chiropractic, he holds a bachelor of science degree from Cook College at Rutgers University.

Dr. Brewster previously served as a trustee and board secretary on the 51¸£ÀûÉç Board of Trustees from 2009 to 2013. He is a current member of the Palmetto State Chiropractic Association, and has formerly served as president of the 51¸£ÀûÉç College Alumni Association.

51¸£ÀûÉç College named its 2019 award recipients in May as part of Lyceum, an annual continuing education and homecoming event attended by hundreds of chiropractors and students throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held each spring in Spartanburg, SC, and involves three days of seminars, special events and other programs; this year approximately 700 were in attendance.
